Obviously, there’s a war, does history repeat itself?

Some people think it’s with Ukraine and Russia.
Some think it’s between Israel and Hamas and the Palestinian displacement.
Some people think it’s the southern border of America and the hundreds of thousands of foreigners that have rushed boundaryless into our country.

There are even people who may proclaim that the only cure for this country is Trump next to God, and the Republicans winning seats in the Senate.

While others shout, “Expose the mainstream media, expose the mainstream media, they are corrupt!”
Let’s take up arms and defend our God-given rights of our oil, land, money, government, and freedom.

When we go back into history, we learn from our founding Patriots, our leaders who fought with blood-stained tears. What’s underneath the bombshelling of the innocent? What do we have in the driven passion of justice?

Making political agendas and religious arguments to be our savior, or letting the helping hands be the ones to also surrender to our maker, the Creator.

Because I see a different aspect of the war.
It’s a war within ourselves, of war to win over our pride, grief, and strife, to seek out a vision and a motive for why we are in existence.

It’s a war that history repeats itself, one of power and one of control, the victor being the pursuer.

But deeper than the physical and the emotional, there is a war that’s raging between good and evil within our souls from the very beginning where Adam and Eve wrestled with God, to where Jacob wrestled right before breakthrough happened.

What’s a deeper question is the war between our flesh versus the war that God has already won and has granted us true freedom, true justice, and true passions to stick up for His salvation and for His grace towards all, regardless of their race, creed, or color of their skin.

That’s where Jesus met us when He wept with Blood stained tears.
It started in Genesis, the only God who grieved in times of history, always reaching with reconciliation in times of disobedience, and responding with justice, mercy, and might.

And He stayed with us giving us His spirit of love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things, there is no religious, no protest or court-ordered law that could justify what had already been laid out in scrolls.

So, who’s side are you on?
Now is a perfect time like no other time, to choose, what side are you on, with the war for your soul?
